This is a current challenge: to read every novel, novella and short story by Stephen King, including the Bachman books. I am reading them in publication order.
In my early teens, I borrowed The Shinning from the library – and after convincing my dad to let me read it, I’ve enjoyed his works ever since. Though I hadn’t read many, and never in any particular order.
Since I discovered audiobooks and started listening on my commutes and whilst doing chores, etc., a whole new realm of possibilities has opened up to me. I first used them to finish a reread of The Wheel Of Time by Robert Jordon (maybe I’ll put a page about that at some point).
Once I was done with WoT, I was looking for something new and King was the obvious choice. I am now just over halfway through this challenge.
